  • Board Vacancy: There are two open positions on the board, please consider supporting your neighborhood organization. The time commitment is minimal and you will meet some really nice neighbors. Please call any board member if you are willing to help.
  • Area Concerns: Homeowners have brought the following concerns to the attention of Board members:
    • A homeowner requested that the board consider updating and improving the landscape of cul du sacs on a yearly rotating basis, at the rate of one cul du sac per year. The Board has discussed this request and decided to review each cul du sac improvement plan. The plan will be evaluated for ability of homeowners to maintain the improvements. The funding for the projects will be limited. The homeowners in the area are welcome to submit plans with the understanding that the Board will have final approval authority for any cul-du-sac plan.
      • The cul-du-sac in Area 7 has two pine trees that are no longer looking very nice and will be removed. The board asks the homeowners contact their area representative Mike Phenicie regarding the removal and replacement of these trees.
      • The cul-du-sac in Area 5 is on the plan to be reviewed this fall. Homeowners in this area are asked to contact their area representative Mark Sticha with plans and/or suggestions.
  • Association By-laws Reminder: The following are prohibited within the Homes of River Woods per Article XI. For complete details see www.riverwoods.info
