  • Homeowners’ received a notice of a Public Hearing from the City of Burnsville earlier this year regarding the 75’ T-Mobile Tower to be constructed on the property of Mary Mother of the Church. Suzanne Schanno and Dale Hanson of the board attended the hearing on March 9 Here is a summary of information which was approved by the city planning commission:
    • The tower will be located in the NE corner of the upper lot near Cliff Road (Penn Cycle)
    • Painted a dark brown to match the existing parking lot light poles
    • Light fixture on the pole will be at 30 feet
    • An 8 foot wrought iron fence will be constructed around the pole with landscaping
    • Four dark posts will be placed around the pole for protection
    • The FCC regulates these poles and T-Mobile meets/exceeds their radiation goals
    • There are other poles like this in the area operating off water towers and tops of buildings
