FALL CLEAN-UP: A light clean-up is planned for Saturday, October 11. Please meet at the Commons area between 8:30 and 9:00 am for coffee and rolls. The clean up will start at 9:00. Please join your neighbors for some conversation and light work. See you there!

FALL HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY: Scheduled for Saturday, October 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Burnsville Maintenance Facility on Frontier Court. This event is sponsored by Dakota Valley Recycling. Learn more at www.dakotavalleyrecycling.org or call 952-895-4524.

AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

  • The board would like to reactivate the “Neighborhood Watch Program” in our area but your support and participation are required. Anyone who is interested in making our neighborhood a safer place please contact David Schlichting at 952-926-6515.

SEPTEMBER BOARD MEETING: At its September 17 meeting, the Board voted to increase the annual dues by 3%. The new annual dues will be $74.16 effective March 16, 2009.

EMAIL ADDRESS: Thanks for your response. To date we have 44 homeowners!! who are now on our email distribution list. The board would like to more effectively distribute our Newsletter and other information via email. Please be assured that this information will be confidential to Riverwoods Homes Association and will be used only for association business. ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL GUIDELINES ARTICLE OF THE MONTH - ARTICLE XI SECTION 12 -STORAGE: The outside storage of recreational and motor vehicles is prohibited. This includes but not limited to boats, trailers, campers, snowmobiles, etc. All storage exceeding three days must be offsite or within the homeowner’s garage. If you have any questions regarding any items of the Architectural Control Guidelines, please contact David Schlicting at 952-926-6515. Let’s all work together to keep and further enhance our neighborhood as a very desirable area.

THIRD ANNUAL HOLIDAY LUMINARIES: Sunday, December 21. More information will be available on both our website and in a mailbox flyer as the day draws nearer.
