Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Mike Phenicie at 6:30 p.m. on June 23rd at Rita Meyer's home. There were seven board members present.

Treasurer's Report: There are three homeowners who have not paid their 2005 dues. We would appreciate having these homeowners send in their $65.00 dues to the P.O. Box listed above.

Distribution of By-Laws to Homeowners: The restated by-laws and covenants will be distributed to the homeowners this fall.

Buckthorn in our woods: The City of Burnsville will work with the association this fall to help identify the buckthorn in our area and how to keep it from coming back.

Dakota County Taxes: Two board members will work together and develop a letter to Dakota County on behalf of the 101 homeowners of River Woods. This letter will address the new runway that will open up in October that will increase the noise level over our homes.

Walking Path: A tree fell down during one of our recent storms. The branches on the path will be picked up by a contractor. The wood pile is FREE to the first homeowner that removes it from the path - THANK YOU!

Fall Clean-Up: The board will set the fall clean-up date when we meet on August 2nd for National Night Our. Our spring clean-up day was rained out.

Web-Site Emails: Homeowners who have issues with barking dogs or other animal issues should first work with their neighbors. If the issue cannot be resolved, please contact the City of Burnsville animal control at 952-894-3647.

Townhouse Swimming Pool: Please contact Connie at 952-894-4620 if you are interested in purchasing a season pass to use the River Woods Townhouse pool this summer.

National Night Out - America's Night Out Against Crime: Mark your calendars to join us for a refreshing root beer float and cookies from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 2nd in the commons area. We have requested the fire truck and the police and K-nine dogs to join us. Don't forget to bring a non-perishable food item for the local Food Shelf.

Board Vacancy and New Board Members: Area 7 still needs a replacement for Rita Meyer. Please call Bob Theis if you are interested. At this time, we want to thank Mike O'Connor and Mike Phenicie for serving on the board. Your time and effort is appreciated. The officer changes for 2005-06 are reflected in the list of board members on page one. We would like to welcome Pam Post who has agreed to represent Area 2 and to David Schlichting who has agreed to represent Area 9 and will serve on the board for the next three years.

We are truly grateful to each board member who unselfishly wolunteers their valuable time to represent their area.

Welcoming Committee: There is one home for sale at 3313 Red Oak Circle South. Please let the welcoming committee know when you are putting your home on the market. We want to get the association by-laws and covenants to the real estate agency and potential home buyers before they purchase a home in our area.

Next Meeting: Tuesday, August 2nd, 6:15 p.m. in the commons area. Homeowners are always welcome. The board members will host National Night Out right after the meeting.
