Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm on April 19, at Rita Meyer's home. There were six board members in attendance.

Treasurer's Report: The 2005 dues were payable by April 15th. There are about 25 homeowners who have not sent in their payments. The annual members dues covers the mowing of the commons area and seven cul-de-sacs; copies of monthly newsletters to members; post office box rental and annual clean up and national night out.

New Homeowners: Please take the time to welcome Joe and Anne Clubb, 12117 Red Oak Court South and their children Rachel, Aaron, Michaela, Noah, Cassandra and Maria to our River Woods community. Currently, there are no homes for sale in our community.

Review of Covenants and By-Laws: Thank you to the commitment of the board members who met over the winter months to review the existing by-laws and covenants changes recommended by Attorney Theresa Readio. The amended and restated by-laws were voted on and unanimously approved by board members Mike Phenicie, Mike O'Connor, Mark Sticha, Suzanne Schanno, Bob Theis, Kyle J-MacPherson and Rita Meyer. Homeowners may contact any of these board members to review the draft document before the May meeting.

The amended and restated by-laws will be distributed to all homeowners after they have been reviewed, voted on and approved by the homeowners at the May 21st meeting.

Cul-de-sacs: Bob Theis will be contacting each of the homeowners who maintained the cul-de-sacs in 2004 to determine if there is interest in maintaining the same cul-de-sacs in 2005. The board has hired New Frontier to fertilize the commons area and the seven cul-de-sacs.

Maintenance: A Weeping Willow tree fell in the commons area this month. A contractor will cut the tree up and remove the debris from the area this spring.

Outside storage of garbage cans: Just a reminder that all trash and refuse containers should be stored inside of the garage.

Spring Clean-Up Day: Please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 21st, 9-12. Workers will be treated to a light lunch following the clean up. Homeowners will be asked to vote on the amended and restated by-laws after the clean-up. We are inviting the Burnsville K-9 unit to join us for lunch.

Townhouse Swimming Pool: We will once again be given the opportunity to purchase a season pass to use the River Woods townhouse pool this summer. If interested, please call Connie at 952-894-4369 on May 25. She will have all of the details by then ---cost, start date, etc.
